Latest updates of IRSDC as on 11.05.2017

GANDHI NAGAR (GUJARAT) INTEGRATED PROJECT.
  • M/S Kunal Structure (India) Private Limited, Rajkot has been awarded the contract vide LOA No. IRSDC/Gandhinagar/Tender/EPC/CT-22/2016/3464 dated 3.01.17. The appointed contractor M/S Kunal Structure (India) Private Limited has already initiated process for civil work at the site.
  • Test pile work has been commenced by the contractor M/S Kunal Structure (India) Private Limited on 01.5.17.
  • SURAT (GUJARAT) INTEGRATED PROJECT
  • In order to have wider participation of the prospective Developers, fresh RFQ has been invited on 04.05.2017 with little relaxed conditions. Pre-application conference shall be held at 11.00 Hrs on 15.5.2017. The RFQ process initiated earlier has been discharged.
  • CHANDIGARH (UT) PROJECT
  • Owing to the reduction in the area for commercial development by UT Govt., possibilities of implementing the project by some other model other than PPP, are being explored by Ministry of Railways (MoR). Further action will be taken on approval from MoR.

  • SHIVAJI NAGAR (PUNE) PROJECT
  • Municipal Commissioner Pune, vide their letter dated 02.03.2017 has issued the certificate of due consultation with them. IRSDC proposes to go ahead with the invitation of RFQ, after undertaking requisite procedural formalities. Consultant has been asked to submit his technical and financial report accordingly for processing for the invitation of RFQ.

  • ANAND VIHAR (NEW DELHI) PROJECT
  • e.RFP has been invited from the shortlisted eligible parties on 30.11.2016. Last date for submission of bids has been further extended to 26.5.2017.
  • BIJWASAN (NEW DELHI) PROJECT
  • e.RFP had been invited from the shortlisted eligible parties on 29.12.2016, with its last date for submission on 17.3.2017, which was last extended to 20.04.2017 on the request of parties.
  • Last date for submission of bids has been further extended to 01.06.2017.
  • HABIBGANJ (BHOPAL) PROJECT
  • On financial close by the appointed developer M/S Bansal Pathways Habibganj Private Limited and meeting of the conditions precedent by IRSDC and Developer, the operation and maintenance of the Habibganj Station has been taken over by Developer w.e.f 01.3.2017, which has been reckoned as the appointed date. The Work is in progress.
  • ENTRUSTMENT OF FIVE NEW STATIONS TO IRSDC
  • Ministry of Railways, Railway Board, have allocated FIVE more stations namely, Amritsar, Gandhinagar (Jaipur), Gwalior, Nagpur and Baiyyappanahalli (Bengluru) to be developed through IRSDC.
  • IRSDC has proceeded to prepare the feasibility plan for development of Baiyyappanhalli (Bengaluru) in association with Govt. of Karnataka for which preliminary discussions are in progress.
  • RE-DESIGNATION OF THE POST OF CEO/IRSDC
  • Shri S.K.Lohia, IRSE-86, has assumed the charge of the re-designated post of Managing Director and Chief Executive officer/IRSDC w.e.f 12.4.2017.
